PHP Conference Brazil is bound to a code of conduct which aims to enable a free-of-harassment experience to all it's participants, independently of gender, special needs, sexual orientation, physical appearance, race, ethinicity, religion and social economical condition.
PHP Conference Brazil's organization doesn't tolerate any form of harassment or disrespect to it's participants being in the form of imagery or discrimination behaviour.
Harassment practice includes offensive comments - related to gender, special needs, sexual orientation, physical appearance, race, ethinicity, religion and social economical condition - sexual imagery diplayed in public places or in PHP Conference Brazil's activities, intimidation, stalking, harassment with video or photographic cameras, repeated interruption of talks and/or other events, and nonconsensual physical contact.
Participants who behave in a way that violates these rules of conduct will be warned and must cease the offensive activity immediately, under penalty of being asked to leave the event, with no possibility of reimbursement of the registration fee and not being allowed to come back. PHP Conference Brazil's organization will take the necessary measures to prevent that practices of harassment take place and/or be repeated in PHP Conference Brazil's activities.
If you've felt threatened or disrespected, contact the organization and state your concerns and the incident. Members of PHP Conference Brazil's organization can be contacted through the Event's Secretary at the exhibition area (Gymnasium).
The organization will take the necessary measures to prevent that the practices of harassment be repeated. We integrate and have great value for the community and wish everyone an excellent event, independently of the differences that we all have and that shouldn't, in any way, divide us.
We expect all participants to follow the general guidelines of this document and don't allow that offensive and discrimination practices take place at PHP Conference Brazil.
